Menu
Truffle is the king ingredient in our cuisine, that is why our menu changes 3 times a year following the Italian truffle seasons: Winter Black Truffle from Jan to Mar; Summer Black Truffle from Apr to Aug and finally White Truffle (together with the Autumn Black Truffle) from Sept to Dec. You will always find our “classic” dishes on our menu but every day, our chefs will propose a few specials based on the freshest ingredients we find in the market. CasaTartufo’s cuisine reflects simplicity, tradition, quality and freshness of the Italian produce, 80% of which are specifically imported from Italy for the restaurant.
Our Set Lunch is available daily. Truffle BulletinThis is the time to enjoy the best Black Truffle of the year: the Winter Black Truffle (Tuber Melanosporum Vittadini). This Truffle is in season until the end of March and we import it weekly from the Toscana, Marche and Umbria region. It is similar to the Autumn Black Truffle (Tuber Uncinatum) but has a darker flesh and a more intense flavour. The Winter Black Truffle is known for its unique hazelnut and underwood notes. Only Truffles above 50g. are served at Casa Tartufo and we fly them over weekly to guarantee their freshness. Try our famous Tajarin: home-made egg noodles typical of Piedmont, cooked in a light butter & sage sauce and topped with freshly shaved Black Truffles. Hope you will enjoy our dishes based on this fantastic produce. Buon appetito! Wines & BarAt Casa Tartufo, Italian wines take centre-stage as the restaurant offers some 350 of what are considered the very best wines from Piedmont and Tuscany. In particular, the Nebbiolo selection (Barbaresco, Barolo etc.), is easily one of the most extensive in town. Price for a wine bottle starts at $60. Casa Tartufo's wine list has recently been awarded "1 glass" by Wine Spectator. Guests can also browse from a wide selection of digestives from the Grappa trolley after-dinner. Our classic and cosy bar is the perfect place for an aperitif or a coffee. |
